Are you a music lover who would like to support us in other ways? L’Académie du Roi Soleil depends on many individuals who generously donate their time and energy. Several opportunities are available for volunteers:

Musician hosts

Many L’Académie du Roi Soleil musicians are from out of town and need accommodations while in Charlotte. Musicians typically stay five to eight days, depending on the length of a project. This is a wonderful way to get to know our musicians (and enjoy free tickets to our performances)!

Airport drivers

If you would be interested in picking up or dropping off our musicians and guest artists at the airport, please let us know!

Box office assistants

Volunteers are needed to assist with ticket sales at the door on concert nights. Box office assistants arrive one hour before the concert and are invited to stay for the performance.

Ushers

Individuals are needed to hand out programs, monitor seating, and assist patrons at concerts. Ushers arrive one hour before the concert and are invited to stay for the performance.
